This week the entertainment world has been a whirlwind of drama, star-studded performances, and of course, more beefs than a barbecue. While two artists in the music industry are caught up in a public spat over—well, who knows what exactly—another is marking a significant milestone, showing us that not all drama has to be bad.
First, the spectacle that is Alien Skin and Pillaso’s ongoing feud. The two are currently locked in a rivalry that has fans divided. Is it just another case of petty differences, or is
there something deeper beneath the surface? As both stars trade jabs—whether on social media or through their music—the debate has raged on in the streets of Kampala: Who’s right, and who’s wrong? At this point, the whole drama feels more like a soap opera, with fans eagerly tuning in to see who gets the last word. Will it end in a heartfelt reconciliation or am I dreaming.
Meanwhile, while some are busy throwing shade, Spice Diana is celebrating a decade in the industry with a glittering display of talent and style. Her “10 Years of Spice Diana”
concert at Kampala Serena Hotel was nothing short of a showstopper. With the kind of energy that only a true diva can muster, she took the stage by storm, reminding everyone why she’s one of the best in the business. From her stunning wardrobe choices to her flawless vocals, Spice Diana made sure her fans got a performance they’ll never forget.
But just when you thought Spice Diana had the night all to herself, Catherine Kusasira decided to throw her own bash at the Sheraton Hotel. The venue was packed and fans were left wondering: Was this a coincidence, or a strategic move to steal the limelight? With both ladies holding extravagant concerts on the same night, the question on everyone’s lips was: Who had the bigger turnout? And more importantly, who had the better performance? While it may seem like a battle for supremacy, both events were a treat.
In the end, whether it’s through feuds, celebrations, or just good old fashioned entertainment, one thing is clear—the music industry in Uganda is serving us a full dose of dopamine. The drama, the glitz, the glamour, and the comedy—all rolled into one.
And we’re here for it. Bring on the music, the madness and the moments that keep us glued to the headlines.
